Introduction

This documentation provides complete guidance on the installation, configuration, and usage of the Additional Fields Builder Module for Perfex CRM. This module allows administrators to extend core Perfex modules with fully dynamic, custom fields — without writing a single line of code.


Using a powerful drag-and-drop form builder, you can create additional fields for modules such as Leads, Customers, Contacts, Tasks, Projects, Invoices, Estimates, and many more. These fields appear directly inside the native Perfex forms, allowing staff members to enter or edit extended data seamlessly.


Designed as a plug-and-play extension, the Additional Fields Builder Module integrates cleanly with Perfex CRM (v3.1.0+), requires no core file modifications, and works automatically through hooks. The module handles data saving, updates, and rendering in background — giving you a fully dynamic field system with zero manual setup.

System Requirements

Installation

Installing the module is quick and simple, It takes just a few minutes :

  • Extract the main .zip file and locate the additional_field_builder.zip file.
  • Log in to the Perfex CRM admin panel as an administrator and go to Setup → Modules.
  • Click Choose File and select the additional_field_builder.zip
  • Click Install to complete the process.

Once the module is installed, it will appear in the list of available modules below. Simply click the Activate button to enable it.

Usage

Once the Additional Field Builder Module is installed and activated, follow these steps to use it effectively:

  • Accessing the Additional Field Builder Panel
    • After logging in as an admin or staff user (with appropriate permissions), navigate to the Additional Field section from the left sidebar.
    • You will see two options in the module list. One is for managing the form, and the other is for cleaning the form. If you choose to clean the form, all additional data and files related to that module will be deleted, including the entire form structure.

    • Drag & Drop Fields – Use the form builder to add and arrange fields as per your requirements.
    • Enable for Staff – Allow staff members (admin area users) to access this Additional Fields.
